Introduction

QuickExport (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how QuickExport handles information when you use our iOS application.

Our Privacy Commitment

QuickExport does NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.

Information We DON’T Collect

We do not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics
• Crash reports
• Advertising identifiers
• Behavioral data
• Content you create, paste, or export
• Files you generate
• Settings and preferences (except locally on your device)

Local Data Storage

QuickExport stores the following data only on your device:

1. App Settings

• Font size preferences
• Theme selection (light/dark)
• Page size preferences
• Syntax highlighting toggle
• Page numbering toggle
• Custom presets you create

This data is stored using iOS’s UserDefaults and never leaves your device.

2. Export History

• Filenames of exported documents
• Timestamps of exports
• Content types detected
• Export formats used

This data is stored locally and limited to the last 100 exports. It can be cleared at any time in Settings.

3. Learning Data

• Format detection corrections you make
• Usage frequency of different formats

This data helps improve detection accuracy and is stored locally. It can be reset in Settings.

4. Temporary Files

• Files created during export are stored in iOS’s temporary directory
• These files are automatically cleaned up by iOS
• They are only accessible by QuickExport
• They are deleted when exported or when iOS needs storage space

What QuickExport Does

QuickExport processes all content locally on your device:

• Content detection happens on-device
• PDF generation happens on-device
• File exports happen on-device
• All processing uses Apple’s native frameworks

Network Requests

QuickExport makes NO network requests.

• No data is sent to any server
• No API calls are made
• No analytics are transmitted
• No updates are fetched from external sources
• No advertisements are served

Third-Party Services

QuickExport uses NO third-party services:

• No analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• No crash reporting services
• No advertising networks
• No social media integrations
• No cloud storage services

Clipboard Access

QuickExport can read from your clipboard when you tap the “Paste” button. This:

• Only happens when you explicitly tap “Paste”
• iOS shows a notification banner when clipboard is accessed
• The clipboard content is never stored permanently
• The clipboard content is never transmitted anywhere

File Sharing

When you export a file, QuickExport uses iOS’s native share sheet:

• You control where files are shared
• Files are shared directly to your chosen destination
• QuickExport does not track what you do with exported files
• No copies are kept after sharing (except in iOS’s temporary directory)

Password Protection

When you password-protect a PDF:

• The password is used only for encryption
• The password is NOT stored by QuickExport
• You must remember your password (we cannot recover it)
• Encryption is performed locally using Apple’s PDFKit

Children’s Privacy

QuickExport is rated 4+ and contains no content inappropriate for children. We do not knowingly collect any information from users of any age.

Data Security

Since QuickExport doesn’t collect or transmit data:

• There are no servers to breach
• There are no databases to hack
• Your content never leaves your device
• All data is protected by iOS’s app sandbox

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• View: All data is visible in the app (Settings, History)
• Delete: Clear export history and learning data in Settings
• Reset: Reset all settings to defaults in Settings
• Export: Your data stays on your device; you can back it up via iCloud or iTunes

Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will:

• Update the “Last Updated” date
• Notify users via an app update
• Continue to NOT collect any personal information

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have specific rights. However, since QuickExport does not collect, sell, or share personal information, CCPA does not apply to our app.

GDPR Compliance

For users in the European Union, QuickExport is GDPR compliant because:

• We don’t collect personal data
• We don’t process personal data
• We don’t share personal data
• All processing happens locally on your device
